A big chunk of all the software applications I review for FindMySoft are shareware tools that can be used for a limited period of time. Why does that matter and why did I bring it up. Well, for the simple reason that this is something that can be done with IntelliLock, a licensing solution offered by Eziriz. If you’re a developer and you came up with a software application, you can use IntelliLock to create trial versions to work for a certain number of days, a certain number of executions, and so on.

According to developer Eziriz, IntelliLock is compatible with any Windows editions, starting from ancient versions like Windows 98 and ME and going all the way up to modern releases like Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, and 10. As far as the setup process is concerted, you have nothing to worry about because a simple setup wizard will guide you through the whole thing. Also according to developer Eziriz, IntelliLock is compatible with all .NET languages, including C#, VB.NET, C++.NET, Delphi.NET, J#, F#, MSIL, and many more.

IntelliLock has a dark-themed ribbon interface with tabs for all the lock and protection settings it has to offer. If you’re interested in IntelliLock, chances are that you’re a developer or programmer. That being said, I’m sure that you won’t have any problems navigating IntelliLock’s interface. And I think you also won’t have a problem with the fact that the interface feels pretty dated.

With IntelliLock you can create trials that will expire at a certain date, after a certain number of days, after a certain number of executions, and you can even set it so that the trial will limit each session to a number of minutes. So if you want people to get a feel for what your application can do but you don’t want to offer that application for free, you can use IntelliLock to implement any trial limitations you want.

Speaking about trial limitations, IntelliLock isn’t free, it is only free to try. Open IntelliLock’s Help file, go to the "Why Register?" section and you’ll get to read this sentence: "you cannot distribute software processed with unlicensed IntelliLock installations."

IntelliLock helps you create trials for your software and lets you implement custom trial limitations.

Pros

IntelliLock is compatible with any Windows edition and any .NET language. Installing IntelliLock won’t take long and figuring out the interface won’t take long either. Use IntelliLock to create trials and implement custom trial limitations.

Cons

Trial limitations: the trial version presents a message which says that "this software is protected by an unregistered version of IntelliLock;" you’re not allowed to distribute software processed with unlicensed IntelliLock installations.
